A few posts back I told you that I’ve been in a bit of a rut. Nothing particularly bad is happening in my life (thank God!), but I’m just in a place where I feel ready to move on to the next stage of what the future holds.
Anyway. How appropriate was this verse in my morning devotion?
That’s Philippians 4:11-13.
It was just what I needed to hear this morning. “Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.” Amen.
I don’t know if it was my heart meditating on that verse or what, but I had a much better day today. First of all, J’s sore throat seems to be almost gone—he was so miserable yesterday, so I was happy for him to feel better. Secondly, my classes went super great!
And thirdly, I found this box of strawberries in a vending machine on my way home from work today. Look at the size of that box! Only 500 Yen (about $6) for all these local strawberries. Amazing.
It’s currently thundering and lightening, so I’m pretty sure I’m going to sleep great tonight! So excited because I get to RUN tomorrow!
