My body needs some rest and it’s making damn sure I know it!
With my main form of cardio—running—out of the question for the time being, I headed to the city gym this morning. The city gym is totally out of my way and requires a train ride and 10 minute walk to reach. I rarely go there, but this morning I wanted to get in a serious cardio workout and knew this was my best option.
60 sweaty minutes later, my workout was complete and I felt like a new, and better person. (Seriously… I’m much nicer and level-headed when I get in a good workout. Ask my husband.)
This was my third really good workout of the week—two great weights workouts, plus this. Tomorrow is definitely going to be a rest day. I am so sore! But also really proud of my effort this week.
